Job summary
Provide consistent leadership to the accounting team, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of financial information. This position oversees accounting processes and controls for the combined business units of Paper Excellence which includes corporate accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, intercompany, and treasury.

Responsibilities:
Accomplishes accounting human resource initiatives by reviewing department and individual responsibilities, ensuring accountability, accuracy, timeliness and optimal performance of the team
Build strong relationships with the team, counterparts at subsidiary companies within the group, peers, our external auditors, and other 3rd parties with whom we conduct business
Drive process improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and efficiencies
Responsible for the integration and standardization of accounting procedures across the US , France , Brazil and Canadian organization (BUs), including those of and future acquisitions.
Effectively manage the preparation and reporting of consolidation and financial statements
Manage and prepare management and investor reporting and presentations as well as information needed for MD&A .
Oversee the external financial audits and support internal audit process across all Business Unit ( BU )
Oversee and maximize use of working capital, developing reporting, recommending improvements for a more efficient treasury, A/P, and other areas while working with our bankers.
Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly, year-end close processes such as the accounting close, objective setting and scoring, fixed asset inventories, finished goods inventories, internal control reporting, Country by Country reporting, etc
Ensure that companies financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Present various reports or presentations to executive management and making suitable observations and recommendations
Prepare and present various report to fulfill Banks requirements
Responsible for the developing, training and knowledge sharing as appropriate with the team to have a best in class organization with succession planning;
Assist Senior Management with special projects
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required at minimum
CPA certification is a must,
Minimum of 5 years at Public Accounting experience preferred
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role is preferred ( at HQ consolidation of across countries), with total of min 10 years experience in various accounting roles
