We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the kitchen
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Plate dishes attractively and ensure timely delivery to service staff
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all serving protocols to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
