PKS Equipment & Engineering, A leader of Car & Truck Hoist products, is seeking experienced assemblers for their facility in Ancaster, Ontario.


  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, bill of materials or specifications manuals to plan sequences of operations for assemblies.
  • Align components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolt, and screw parts together, using hand and power tools
  • Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers gauges and tape measures.
  • Inspect finished parts for conformity to drawing and defects.
  • Assemble and integrate Pneumatics, Hydraulics & Electrical Components
  • Set up and operate drill presses to drill and tap holes in parts for assembly
  • Inspect, operate, and test completed machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications
  • Ability to motivate team to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.

We are looking for:

  • Min 2-3 Years Previous Mechanical Assembly Experience
  • Experience in Metal Fabrication, Hydraulics and Pneumatic a definite asset
  • Experience working with tools/machinery
  • Ability to read shop drawings/blueprints
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts
  • Comfortable lifting 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
  • Must be adaptable to changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Attention to detail and well organized.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour to start depending on Experience.
