Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to service and maintain electrical systems within warehouse facilities. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and testing equipment on site, as well as potentially installing and setting up new equipment. Candidates may run a service van if they possess adequate experience, and will receive daily assignments to various locations.
Responsibilities

Service and maintain electrical systems within warehouse facilities.

Troubleshoot, repair, and test equipment on site.

Install and set up new equipment as needed.

Conduct commercial service calls and basic/commercial repairs.

Travel to various job sites, potentially multiple locations in a day.
Essential Skills
-
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician.

Experience with commercial installations, including conduit installation and circuit pulling.

Proficiency in electrical maintenance and service.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.

Experience with conveyors and working in warehouse environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Valid driver's abstract.

Certifications: Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform (AWP), WHMIS, CSTS.

Nice to have: Lockout Tagout (LOTO) and First Aid certification.

Work Environment
The work environment includes warehouses and commercial/light-industrial service settings. Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE, including 6-inch steel toe boots, hard hat, high visibility vest, and safety glasses. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling approximately 40 hours per week. Although on-call duties may arise, they are rare.
