CAREGIVERS in Nanaimo
Care & Company is a leading provider of in-home care services, committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients, helping them to live independently in their own homes.
Position: Caregiver
Employment: Part-time / Contractor
Compensation: $25-$26 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with showering, medication blister packs, exercise guidance, dressing, light housekeeping, etc.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Caregiver experience (personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting)
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Willingness to provide a Criminal Record Check and references.
- First Aid or CPR Level C.
- English Proficiency (Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing).
- Legally approved documentation to work in Canada.
- Valid BC driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
