We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and plating dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring efficient service during busy hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold health standards
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service principles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
- Previous experience in serving or food industry roles is a plus but not required
Gratuities
As an added incentive, once trained up, our kitchen staff earn kitchen tips which average $4.50-5.50/hour which is dependant on business levels and paid out cash twice a month.
