MC Volts Electric Inc. is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to become a key member of our growing team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete residential electrical installations, service calls, renovations, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, heat pump electrical work, and other electrical projects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Work independently and confidently without constant supervision
- Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets the BC Electrical Code and company standards
- Communicate directly with homeowners and provide professional, friendly customer service
- Explain electrical issues and recommended solutions clearly to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Take ownership of jobs and follow projects through to completion
- Communicate clearly and proactively with the office regarding job progress, materials, customer needs, and any challenges or outstanding matters that may require coordination with other trades
- Help mentor and support other team members as the company grows
- Represent MC Volts Electric professionally in the community
Requirements
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- Valid BC electrical certification
- Strong residential electrical experience
- Excellent knowledge of the BC Electrical Code
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to confidently work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Must have a complete set of personal hand and power tools required to perform the job
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, professional, and accountable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Comfortable interacting directly with homeowners and handling customer questions professionally

Experience with service work, renovations, panel upgrades, EV chargers, and heat pumps is an asset.

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
