About the role
We run a busy kitchen in Russell. We need a line cook who shows up and cooks well. You will work the line during service. You will keep your station clean and food safe.
What you'll do
- Cook menu items to our recipes and standards
- Prep ingredients: chop, marinate, portion, and assemble
- Keep your station, tools, and equipment clean
- Watch food quality from prep through to the plate
- Move fast and steady during busy service
- Restock supplies and keep storage organized
What we need
- Some kitchen or prep experience helps, but we will train the right person
- Basic food safety and clean kitchen habits
- Ability to cook under pressure without losing care
- Sharp eye for small mistakes before they reach a guest
- Strong teamwork on a busy line
Certification
- Ontario law requires a valid Food Handler Certificate
- Under Ontario Regulation 493/17, at least one certified handler must be on site during all open hours
