Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, friendly and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, prepare and serve beverages and food, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.
Duties
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service of food and beverages
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in food preparation when needed, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while providing attentive guest service
- Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation skills
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
