Responsibilities:
- A successful Delivery Driver will be responsible for more than just transporting goods back and forth. The following are daily duties for a successful candidate:
- Drive delivery vehicle (1/2 ton truck)
- Load and unload tires (average between 75 lbs and 115lbs) You will be lifting, stacking and rolling them by hand , a forklift will be available.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle regularly.
- Add fuel, D.E.F., and maintain detailed records of costs and mileage.
- Deliver items by the required delivery date and time.
- Collect payment or get signatures for proof of delivery.
- Ensure all items being delivered remain intact during transport and delivery.
- Deliveries will be within Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Monday to Friday full time with occasional Saturdays if required.
Delivery Driver skills and qualifications:
- At minimum, the candidate will require a valid Full Class 5 driver’s license.
- A clean driving record for the last 12 months.
- A clean criminal record.
- Accept and sign our company’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
