Position Overview
Mona's Sodas is looking for friendly, energetic Team Members to help create a fun and welcoming experience for every customer. As a Team Member, you'll prepare drinks, serve customers, and help keep the shop clean, organized, and running smoothly.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, and being part of a positive team environment
This position is considered seasonal for the summer, with potential a possibility of becoming a permanent position. Weekly hours may vary from 16-40hours/week depending on business needs.
Employment available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations
- Deliver drinks quickly while maintaining quality
- Help create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere
Drink Preparation
- Prepare customized soda drinks according to recipes
- Scoop and handle ice safely and efficiently
- Maintain consistency and quality of all drinks
- Keep drink stations stocked and organized
Store Cleanliness & Organization
- Keep counters, prep areas, and customer areas clean
- Restock cups, lids, syrups, and supplies
- Follow cleaning checklists during shifts
- Assist with end-of-day cleaning tasks
Team Support
- Work together with team members during busy periods
- Follow direction from Key Holders and Managers
- Help maintain a positive team environment
- Be flexible and willing to help where needed
Qualifications
- No experience required — we will train the right person
- Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 30 lbs (ice, syrup boxes, supplies)
- Working in a fast-paced environment
