POSITION SUMMARY
Concorde Group Administration has an opportunity available for an experienced Lead Designer to help support the growth of our dynamic organization. This is a leadership role which will provide guidance to the in-house design team. The Lead designer will develop innovative ideas that assist the company’s product development and sharpen our marketing efforts. To be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be highly focused, detail-oriented, and very conscientious of meeting budget restraints and timelines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Champion the creative process and create compelling visuals that align with the established and evolving Concorde brand across various mediums including web, email, social media, and print.
- Maintain the quality and the creativity of design projects.
- Conceptualize creative plans for new and existing venues while overseeing the process and providing leadership to the creative team to ensure success
- Lead the design of new products, assist the team with ideas and provide them with creative input for new designs.
- Ensure brand identity is consistent across all channels.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities from various sources including venues and events.
- Develop and transform complex ideas into simple concepts and stories.
- Meet organizational objectives and deadlines while working within the mission, vision, and values that Concorde strives to uphold.
- Continually evaluate, advise, and implement innovative ways to improve upon current design procedures and creative workflows.
- Collaborate with leaders across the company to set the brand strategy and vision for all brands
- Set the creative bar for our brands and deliver innovative ideas that drive results across the organization
- Champion creative direction and image for new and existing venues, brands, and events.
- Work closely with the senior management team to pitch new concepts
- Work with the team to create, plan and deliver strategic plan and vision. Advocating for the department as whole—being a vocal leader for brand and creative vision
- Foster collaboration within the creative team to provide diverse collateral that aligns with the executives’ vision and feedback.
- Stay in touch with the latest technology and strategies in the design and development industry and putting them to use for the company’s benefit.
- Promote a spirit of innovation and creative within the design team to ensure new ideas are generated and team morale is high.
- Other duties as assigned by senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- 5+ years-experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in project management is considered an asset
- Hands-on, expert experience with digital design in the areas of social media content creation, brand imaging/ immersion, print design, is required.
- Education in fine arts, such as drawing and media, printmaking, etc. is considered an asset.
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Confident, driven, and dynamic leader with a proven track record of success in management roles
- Ability to communicate at a high level in presentations and in writing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required
- Strong creative outlook with an ability to identify and execute on unique opportunities when they arise.
