Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients efficiently by chopping, slicing, marinating, and organizing for service
- Cook menu items accurately and consistently according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team during busy service hours
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed
- Support the team by restocking supplies and ensuring all ingredients are ready for use
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Must be able to read of a screen as orders come in.
- Ensure that you will show team sprit and able to do multitasking.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food handling and safety procedures
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation across various cuisines
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Familiarity with serving guests courteously and professionally when needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field
