Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure effective sanitation and upkeep
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures through sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks to support overall facilities upkeep when required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair techniques
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools safely and effectively
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
- Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
Requirements
- WHMIS Certification
- Police Clearance Certificate
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
