Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting a number of operational requirements for material handling within the facility. The Warehouse Associate works with the Production team and may be required to help the shipping/receiving team to get materials where they need to be and organize them according to organizational needs.
Reporting Relationships
- The Warehouse Associate reports to the Production Supervisor and Production Manager and interacts with other members of the leadership team and staff as required to carry out duties.
Key Responsibilities
Duties as described, included to but not limited to the following:
- Receive, store, move and pack materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse.
- Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, trailers or other transport vehicles.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for the job assigned neatly and with detail.
- Help retrieve items from the warehouse racking system for the production lines as needed.
- Return and organize warehouse materials in the warehouse racking systems as needed.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Follows and complies with all company health and safety rules & Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Follows and complies with all SQF/HACCP/GMP (Food Safety) protocols, policies and procedures.
- Carrying out additional work-related duties assigned by the employer .

Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 High School Diploma or Equivalent;
- Experience in warehouse environment preferred;
- Valid Forklift certifications for sit-down/stand up counterbalance and reach truck required.

Working Conditions
- Requires high level of concentration, mental focus and attention to details
- This position requires to be physically mobile in a plant environment;
- May require overtime on occasion;
- Lifting up to 50lbs may be required, safely.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
