*Manual Machinist*
Seeking an Journeyperson Machinist that has experience in a manual repair shop. This is a full time position - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with the potential for overtime and weekends. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and demonstrate quality workmanship and work ethic. A potential candidate should show a willingness to assist in other areas of operations.
Job requirements:
- Able to operate, and maintain a variety of machining tools including manual lathe, mill, drills, saws, and boring mills in a safe manner
- CNC experience and programming
- Working knowledge and experience of metals(Stainless Steel, Carbon, and Exotic Metals), identification, mechanical properties, and machinability
- Preferred experience in CAD/ CAM software
- Must be able to work within close tolerances
- Able to measure and inspect parts to shop standards
- Able to perform machine maintenance
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Read and interpret drawings, charts, and tables
- Self motivated while working in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Must have own transportation
- Must have tools required to perform daily tasks
- Must be able to maintain a clean working environment

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
