Senior Designer/Senior Project Manager/Senior FF&E Administrator
Position Reports To: Principal Designer | Owner
Duties: Collaborate on programming and schematic design, conceptual
development with principal designer or independently. Develop marketing strategies for the team, meet with clients, and monitor the progress of projects and plans.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Strong communication skills with ability to work in team environment
- Evidence of a “safety first” attitude
- 7 years office administrative experience
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Project, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, reliable vehicle, and the ability to travel
- Ability to work independently is essential
Design Responsibilities
· 10 to 15 years of practical design experience.
· 3 to 5 years of managing intermediate and junior team members.
· Develop strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets.
· Provide guidance and leadership to the design team in areas of design development, mentorship and implementation of proper working drawing packages.
· Establish strategy, goals and objectives for the design team.
· Plan, organize, and direct design team activities, workflow and other day-to-day activates to ensure goals and objectives of our projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
· Oversee all design reviews with design team to promote innovative design solutions.
· Develop design ideas. Creating storyboards and mock-ups for clients and the design team to visualize the completed project.
· Review feedback from clients and making alterations according to the clients' needs.
· Analyse trends in design.
· Involve with staff retention efforts and participation in staffing requirements, including hiring and oversee integration of new staff.
