We are a busy, customer-focused dry cleaning and garment care company committed to providing exceptional quality and service. We are looking for a skilled Tailor and Garment Alterationist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality alterations and repairs on a variety of garments, including suites, dresses, pants, skirts, jackets, coats, and formal wear.
- Alter hems, sleeves, waistlines, zippers, linings, and other garment components.
- Repair damaged garments, including tears, buttons, seams, and other minor repairs.
- Inspect garments before and after alterations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate with storefront associates regarding alteration requests and timelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality of work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a tailor or garment alterationist.
- Strong sewing and garment construction skills.
- Experience using industrial sewing machines and pressing equipment
- Ability to work with a wide range of fabrics and garment styles
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
