Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of freight handling, and experience with heavy equipment operation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, professionalism, and timely deliveries.
We are looking for team drivers to run our US & Canadian lanes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Assist in securing freight properly for transport to prevent damage during transit
- Follow company policies regarding hours of service, safety protocols, and cargo handling procedures
We are requiring the following:
- Class 1 license
- Min 1 year of mountain driving experience.
- Experience with reefers and dry vans.
- looking for flexible drivers who can switch between highway and local work.
- Responsible and reliable
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Perform pre trip & post trip inspections
- Handle all documents related to freight & compliance.
- Must be tech friendly and good with smart phones
