Position Overview
As an experienced Social Media Content Coordinator/ Creator, you play a pivotal role in transforming content strategies into tangible and creative outputs. You’re comfortable working closely with our clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to drive brand visibility, engagement, and conversions through social media platforms and owned channels. You bring ideas to the table, providing best-in-class recommendations, you live and breathe digital acumen, and you’re up to date with algorithm changes and best practices.

Responsibilities
1. Content Creation:
- Develop engaging, high-quality creative content for various platforms (social media, website, blogs).
- Plan, implement, and schedule content calendars, ensuring a timely delivery of content.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other creative professionals in-house and with influencers.
- Stay current with social media trends, platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns.
- Copywrite long -format editorial content (lifestyle and technical pieces) for blogs and owned channels.
2. Community Management:
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and users on social media platforms.
- Manage online communities, encouraging positive interactions and addressing issues.
- Leverage UGC and find opportunities for collabs, duets, and stitches.
3. Planned Development:
- With the support of your lead, implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of content and adjust strategies as needed.
- Use those KPIs to prepare reports to communicate insights and progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
You’ll need these to be considered for this position…
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Content Coordinator/ Creator or a similar role, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, their audiences, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to clients and internal teams.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and pull actionable insights.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for staying abreast of industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
Specifications
- Approx 80% social media content creation and 20% editorial content creation.
- Reports to the Content Team Lead.
- Job type: freelancer, 20 hours per week.
- Contract duration: 8 weeks with a possible extension.
