We are a FedEx Ground independent contractor looking to grow our team of AZ drivers servicing the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for full time drivers to work 5-6 days a week that can perform local GTA and/or interprovince runs with FedEx trailers(no teams). We are offering competitive compensation with attractive incentives, newer tractors, leading industry equipment and a supportive work environment. We are looking to hire as soon as possible, successful candidates must be able to drive doubles (x2 pup trailers/28ft trailers + dolly), availability must be primarily for day shift but with possibility of night shift opportunities.

Job Position: AZ Driver
Starting Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
Job Duties:
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of cargo(trailers)
- No Loading or unloading, drop and hook trailers
- Ability to use in-cab ELD (Motive)
- Ability to use Mobile Trip APP and/or Telephone Dispatching
- 8 to 12 hours of work per shift, runs may vary
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report any vehicle damages or malfunctions accordingly
- Ensure cargo(trailer) is secured at all times when transporting
- Safely operate tractor on at all times. Abide by all governing laws and company policies
- Must notify direct supervisor as soon as possible of any accidents, tickets, or other problems
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of class AZ drivers license
- Must have clean drivers abstract and/or CVOR
- 2+ years of tractor trailer driving experience
- Pass a criminal background check
- Previous doubles hauling experience is preferred/asset
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional and positive attitude
- Technology literate
- Strong problem solving, attention to detail and time management skills
- Able to work independently and unsupervised throughout the day
