We are recruiting for a current opening for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client
Job Description:
Operate machinery on a daily basis. Set up machine per work order - using tube clamps, saw blade or cutter, correct tube diameter and length. Visually inspect each tube running about 400-500 pieces per hour. Performs basic maintenance, checks the quality of products manufactured, perform tool maintenance, and schedule changes as required. Move material boxes and bundles. Makes sure they have right size and material grade. Accurately complete hourly checks and fill in documents and tags for quality, production and inventory records.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of Machine Operation in a production environment
- Must have mechanical fundamentals knowledge
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of P.L.C. or logic controls that operate machines is an asset
- Required to work alternate shifts based on customer/schedule requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned in any department required
