Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CDA II to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support the clinical team with a variety of dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental assisting, medical terminology, and experience with dental software systems Tracket Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, and CAD is highly desirable. The CDA II will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization protocols are followed
- Manage patient records using dental software Tracker ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, utilizing CAD tools when applicable
- Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures
- Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with patients as a dental receptionist when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Support the clinical team with administrative tasks related to patient care and clinic operations
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in dental software system Tracker
- Experience working within orthodontics and pediatrics is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Skilled in dental assisting procedures including radiography, sterilization, and patient care
- Familiarity with CAD technology used in digital dentistry workflows is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and providers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
