Responsibilities
-
Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and sub-assembly of aircraft systems, parts, and components within a project and/or assigned area.

Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.

Use jigs and position components based on PVA, engineering drawings, or any other material provided by the methods department.

Read and interpret blueprints or manufacturing documentation.

Adapt work to different types of assemblies: large / small components.

Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be performed.

Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications provided by the client:

Install required fasteners; drill holes; ensure correct products are used for assembly (bolts, driven or mechanical rivets, screws, or hardware to fasten, support, or suspend components and sub-assemblies).

Ensure the correct use of assembly products (sealants, bonding, corrosion protection, paint).

Ensure assemblies comply with the manufacturing documentation.

Inspect and verify units, parts, and installed equipment to ensure suitability, performance, and compliance with standards defined in technical documentation.

Comply with quality standards and production rates.

Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Report any anomaly or irregularity.
Perform any other related tasks.
Skills and qualifications
-
Minimum of five years of experience as a Structural Assembler in the aeronautics field, ideally on the Global 8000.

You hold at least a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in aircraft structural assembly or an equivalent qualification.

You have excellent blueprint reading skills.

You demonstrate strong manual dexterity.

You have a quick mind and a well-developed attention to detail.

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
