Old Yale Brewing is opening our third location, in Beaumont, Alberta! The 11,000 sq ft, 400-seat Craft Brewery + Kitchen located in Beaumont will be home to our 7.5-hectoliter Brewery, the indoor Games Lodge, our Little Explorers Corner and our Old Yale Beer & Gear Store. With 3 patios, 20 beers on tap, our selection of Wine, Cider and Cocktails and our campfire-inspired menu that suits every appetite, you’ll find that you can always count on Old Yale Brewing for delicious food, great beer and even better friends
With this exciting expansion, we need a General Manager to join Team OYB to help with all the preparation of our opening!

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Control labour by scheduling based on sales projections and trends.
+ Training of assistant managers and shift leaders to develop a qualified management grid.
+ Overall P&L responsibility of both the FOH and Kitchen departments.
+ Run shifts and ensure that all guests leave happy.
+ Product ordering with order guide to maintain inventory levels that are needed to provide great experience and no stock outs.
+ Morning, evening and weekend shifts are required.
+ Consistent one on ones with all staff.
+ Oversight of kitchen team to control labour, food cost, and guest experience.
+ POS updating to ensure all beer releases and menu roll outs are reflected in the POS system.
+ Delivery app management to drive more orders and increase sales.
+ Work with the People & Culture Department to recruit, interview, and hire team members.
+ Additionally, conduct performance reviews, conduct disciplinary action, and ensure all training is conducted.
+ Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
+ 3-5 years in a minimum Assistant General Manager (or the like) in the hospitality industry required
+ 1-2 years with P&L responsibility in the hospitality industry preferred
+ Strong understanding of food and labor cost, and how to affect on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
+ Highly team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
+ Proactive in problem solving, utilizing expertise to create effective action plans to find areas of opportunities and resolve issues within the restaurant.
+ Familiar with various POS, scheduling, billing and interoffice software programs.
