Currently we have an opportunity for a Shipping Specialist at our 1909 Lawrence East., Scarborough location. Your skills that we need for our team are and we will help you develop:
· This job will require you to load and unload trucks
· Catalogs and codes invoices according to procedure
· Schedule shipments and communicate with drivers concerning routes and delivery times
· Takes initiative to identify report and resolve problems before they escalate
· Verbal and written knowledge of English
· Excellent communication and organization skills
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend and reach
· Verify both outgoing and incoming shipments, checking for quality assurance and refusing any damaged goods
· Maintain files of shipments sent and received
· Track packages and keep records of shipped items
Forklift license is an asset
