Tiny Bumblebees Child Care Inc. is a warm, nurturing, Reggio Emilia-inspired early learning centre serving children from 18 months to 4 years of age. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who values relationships, embraces child-led learning, and is committed to providing high-quality care and education.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
- Have a minimum of two year of experience working in a licensed child care setting
- Hold current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Provide proof of immunization and TB screening requirements
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development
- Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment
- Collaborate with team members to support daily routines and program planning
- Follow all policies and procedures in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
- Participate in ongoing professional learning and reflective practice
