About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer to work closely with our CTO on the development and continued improvement of ProbPoint’s cloud-based inspection platform. The role will cover both core product development and the expansion of platform features as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop features for inspections, dashboards, reports, alerts, and equipment management Build and maintain APIs, databases, backend services, and user-facing functions Support integrations with robots, cameras, sensors, drones, and cloud services Contribute to AI-assisted data analysis, defect detection, and automated reporting Improve platform reliability, security, performance, and scalability Troubleshoot technical issues and support product releases Maintain clear technical and system documentation
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Experience developing web or cloud-based applications Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, backend systems, and modern development practices Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with AI, computer vision, IoT, robotics, or data analytics is an asset Comfortable working in a growing technology company
Pay: $117,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Vancouver, BC
