Summary:
As an IT Developer, you will utilize your skills and experience to help the organization and business units achieve its goals. This will involve understanding the business objectives, processes, and data and establishing effective relationships with IT and operational partners.
As a key member of the IT team, you will use leading practices to maintain, configure, and modify the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) and related applications to optimize their use to provide business value. This includes managing and extracting data for reporting, analysis, and decision making.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS :

- Lead/work with the team to utilize technology (applications, tools, data) to generate business value;
- With modern technology, enable the organization to improve process efficiency, perform analysis, and decision making;
- Establish structured data from which effective reports, dashboards, and analytics tools may be generated to monitor and manage processes;
- Work with a team to identify, evaluate, select, and effectively implement and maintain technology solutions;
- Where needed, provide end-user guidance, training and support.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM :
- Education: University degree in computer science or software engineering;
- ERP/MRP: Development experience with popular, medium-to-large ERP systems in a manufacturing environment – preferably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central;
- Data management and integration: Proficient with SQL and managing data movement with tools such as Web services, ETL and ESB between the ERP and other systems;
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Experience with project development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall;
- Data Analytics: Ability to analyze business data and generate insights – preferably experienced with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or custom reporting solutions;
- Execution: Communicate effectively, be able to work independently and with a diverse team, and manage competing priorities and deadlines;
- Preferred: French/English bilingualism (spoken and written);
- Preferred: Experience with .Net development;
- Preferred: Experience with/exposure to modern, large data management methodologies and data governance – e.g. structured data management, data lakes.
