Part Time Warehouse Attendants

Here's what you'll be doing....
We are looking for energetic team players who have flexibility for Monday through Friday schedules for both day and afternoon shifts; including availability on some Saturday day shifts. You will retrieve merchandise from warehouse stock preparing it to be shipped according to orders received, processes returned stock, checks inventory and assists in maintaining related records.

Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work Monday through Friday afternoon shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm.

This position is in the bargaining unit of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 3261.

Hourly rate: $14.55

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Previous warehouse experience is required
  • Must be able to handle cartons up to 40lbs

About our Team:
The Distribution Division is based at 5201 Dufferin Street, in Toronto and provides shipping, receiving and storage for the University of Toronto Press and approximately 40 independent publishers. Normal operations for the facility is 16 hours a day, 6 days a week, and is staffed by more than 100 full and part-time, warehouse and office employees. As an organization, we continue to look for better ways to provide outstanding service to our clients and customers.
