MBC Logging is looking for an experienced Logging Road Builder to join our growing operations. If you take pride in building safe, efficient forest roads and enjoy working in a fast-paced logging environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Construct and maintain logging roads to company and industry standards.
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Build road grades, drainage systems, culverts, and road crossings.
- Shape slopes, ditches, and road surfaces for safe truck access.
- Perform road maintenance and repairs as required.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with supervisors and logging crews to maintain production.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of logging road building experience.
- Strong experience operating excavators in steep terrain.
- Knowledge of road design, drainage, and safe construction practices.
- Ability to read terrain and make sound decisions in the field.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license required.
