We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing efficient and quality dental care to patients.
Duties
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with Maxident or similar dental software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience as a dental receptionist
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures
- Familiarity with Epic or CAD software
