We are adding to our team! Our newest associate is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our privately owned dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to grow within a dynamic healthcare environment. Experience with dental software Tracker as well as knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued. The position involves working closely with patients of all ages, including children, and requires a strong understanding of dental assisting techniques. Itero experience is valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker dental software
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow with the front desk team, supporting the role of a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in ordering supplies and managing inventory for the dental practice
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant license required
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and clinical support
- Proficiency in dental software Tracker is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service is beneficial but not required
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
