Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our restaurant team. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Process payments efficiently and handle cash, credit, or digital transactions with precision
- Assist in food preparation and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly, ensuring proper sanitation and safety protocols
- Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed, including food prep and replenishing supplies
- Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests efficiently
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and change calculations
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and transactions simultaneously
- Food industry knowledge including food preparation, serving techniques, and food handling best practices
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
- Professional attitude with a focus on hospitality excellence
Pay: $17.20-$23.20 per hour
