Forvan is looking for a driven Technical Support Specialist to join our team in person at our office in Woodstock, ON. In this role, you will be the face of our technical support, ensuring every customer interaction is handled professionally, efficiently, and with the high standard of service Forvan is known for.

What We Offer
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (with required participation in after-hours on-call support)
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Answer, assess, and resolve technical inquiries on-site, via phone, email, and other contact channels in accordance with company standards.
- Triage & Escalation: Perform high-level assessments on call severity and proactively escalate complex customer issues to management when appropriate.
- Client Care: Provide timely follow-ups with clients to guarantee complete issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Continuously develop troubleshooting skills to identify new and existing problems before they impact users.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of IT industry experience is required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven experience installing and maintaining Microsoft Server Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Cloud Administration, Azure, and Intune.
- Skilled in configuring and maintaining Firewalls and Wireless networks.
- High-level knowledge of Backup Fundamentals and Disaster Recovery Strategies.
- Communication & Mindset: Excellent written and oral English communication skills, high attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and a positive attitude toward continuous learning.
- Logistics: A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to reliably commute to Woodstock, ON (N4S 1T1) daily.
Preferred Assets
- Microsoft designations or A+ certifications
- Kaseya Products like Autotask and ITGlue an asset.
