We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and reliable Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team!
The Role
Working directly under the supervision of our Registered Physiotherapists, you will play a crucial role in delivering hands-on patient care and keeping our clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Support: Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs, stretches, and mobility routines safely and effectively.
Modality Application: Set up and apply therapeutic modalities as directed by the Physiotherapist (e.g., ultrasound, TENS/IFC, heat/ice packs).
Environment Maintenance: Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and properly sanitized between patient appointments to maintain a safe environment.
Team Collaboration: Communicate patient progress, feedback, or concerns clearly and promptly to the attending Physiotherapist.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) diploma program, or a degree in Kinesiology/Human Kinetics.
Experience: Previous experience in a private clinic setting is an asset, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply!
Skills: Strong understanding of exercise prescription, anatomy, and therapeutic modalities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attributes: A genuinely warm, positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment.
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
