We are seeking a talented and personable individual to join our team as a barber and Hairdresser. This role combines professional hair styling, Hair cut, hair colour, balayage, highlight, updoes with exceptional client service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair artistry, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and retail sales. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to client preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, including styling stations and tools.
- at the end of the day need to clean area where you are working.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out procedures, and answering client inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded during each visit.
- Assist with maintaining the overall organization of the salon environment to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques.
- Beginners are welcome too
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon setting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to enhance client experience and increase sales.
- Previous experience with retail sales or front desk operations is preferred but not required.
