We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Ensure medical terminology is correctly used to document procedures and patient information
- Support the team with general office duties to enhance overall patient experience
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, especially with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic and Dentrix is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is beneficial
- Experience working with CAD systems for imaging or restorative procedures is a plus
- Certification in dental assisting or related training programs is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates

Pay: $28.00-$39.00 per hour
