Position Summary:
To actively engage and participate in all the weeks of summer camp for the kid, teen and young adult groups. The summer camp program is to have recreation activities for individuals with disabilities that are aimed to enhance their quality of life. The weeks are designed to provide mentorship, support, and quality of life activities to all individuals.
Job Description
- Directly Reports to the Summer Camp Leader
- To attend orientation/training prior to beginning of camp. Attend weekly staff meetings and any other meetings that may be required.
- To become familiar with disabling conditions and the specific needs of each individual in the program.
- To work with the Program Leader to help plan and coordinate recreational activities for the participants.
- To provide supervision and care for all individuals attending our camps.
- To encourage interaction between all individuals.
- To ensure the safety and confidentiality of all individuals.
- To communicate with parents/guardians about activities and the child’s experiences.
- To show up for work at the appropriate time and with the necessary equipment (i.e. swim wear on swimming days, etc.).
- To write any necessary documentation such as Incident Reports when required.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
