Job Purpose:
To visit and communicate with clients within your portfolio to create bespoke employment documentation and to provide accurate advice to members on all aspects of HR and Employment Relations issues. This role will be field based.

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HR and Employment Relations Consultant to service our clients, providing a bespoke and comprehensive consultancy service to suit their business needs.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Meet with clients and create the employment documentation or to critique the clients own existing documentation to meet their needs, in accordance with Peninsula’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage your workload to ensure that client expectations are met.
  • To deliver an expert HR service in the field in order to support our clients in dealing with formal meetings with their employees – conducting and advising on consultancy, capability, disciplinary, grievance and appeal issues as well as investigations and settlement negotiations.
  • To provide prompt, high quality reports of outcomes within specified time frames and adhere to administrative procedures concerning file management.
  • Liaise with Documentation Consultants and deal with inquires as appropriate.
  • Liaise with members and deal with request as appropriate.
  • Manage your workload in accordance with Peninsula’s current policies and procedures.
  • Ensure deadlines and any targets are met.
  • Attend team meetings, as required.
  • To record work utilising the systems in place.
  • Present Employment Relations training to client groups.
Education/Experience:
  • Human Resources/Business degree is preferred.
  • 2 + years of experience in a similar role.
  • HR designation is an asset.
