Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Worker/Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-role position involves hands-on work in our production environment, as well as safe and efficient delivery of orders between our other branches and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while developing valuable skills in logistics and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, assemble and package orders
- Prepare delivery routes and ensure timely dispatch of orders to clients and other branches.
- Safely deliver orders to clients, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and order details
- Perform general warehouse duties such as cleaning, inspecting equipment, and maintaining safety standards
- Handle heavy lifting of items up to specified weight limits while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current driver’s abstract
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and delivery scheduling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.00 per hour
