Job description
We are looking for an Certified Surface Blaster to work on site at our Dease Lake mine site. This is a fly in, fly out position from June until end of September. We have a large camp on an airstrip with a cook, showers, sat tv & internet. Ideally, you are a hard worker that works well with a smaller crew.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strong commitment and adherence to all Safety Policies and Procedures
- Complete proper documentations (logbooks)
- Adhere to site policies and standard operating procedures
- Report all unsafe acts and all incidents
- Other duties as may be required
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1-3 year’s experience as a certified blaster and have a valid driver’s license. Ideally, this person is a team player that works well with others. We have a flexible schedule and can accommodate requested time out of camp.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $400.00-$500.00 per day
