Why this role is important?
We are hiring a Manager, Health and Wellness Partnerships.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships , the Manager is responsible for the identification and successful implementation of partnership opportunities with stakeholders across the healthcare system with a strong focus on digital health. The Manager will work with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to implement a number of strategic health and wellness. In this capacity the Manager will lead collaborations and create analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of strategic partnerships and initiatives. Key responsibilities will include the assessment of strategic partnership opportunities, the design and development of go-to-market strategies with prospective partners, and the ongoing management of partnership relationships.
What You'll Do:
Identify strategic and operational partnership opportunities in the pharmacy and digital healthcare space and support build out and implementation
Lead day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional initiatives, resolving issues as needed
Build, manage, and maintain relationships with partners, developing and executing on go-to-market strategies
Participate in the analysis and negotiations surrounding strategic business initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and refine use cases, opportunity assessments, financial models and other related business planning material
Use superior power point and written communication skills to create presentations which captivate senior leadership and cross-functional team members
Become the subject matter expert in new areas of healthcare and digital innovation, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments
What You'll Need:
University degree with a concentration in Business and / or Health Sciences, preferred
5+ years’ experience in business strategy and execution
Strong background in partnerships, business development and stakeholder management would be an asset
Solid understanding of the health and wellness industry, with a focus on digital health would be an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent power point skills
Excellent excel skills
Must be able to develop sound business cases with accompanying economic models
Must be able to work with complex data sets to form analytic and reporting solutions
Ability to be proactive on deliverables
Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals
Ability to support negotiations and partnerships with external vendors and business partners
Ability to understand healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, combined with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel (GTA wide) and flexibility to work out of SDM corporate offices as well as at downtown locations
