Job Title: Front Desk - Marina
Location: 5122 County Rd 21, Haliburton, ON
Position Summary
The Front Desk is the first point of contact for customers at the marina. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing phones and scheduling, supporting administrative tasks, and handling counter sales of parts and accessories. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced marine and powersports sales environment.
Key Responsibilities : Customer Service & Front Desk Operations
- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries
- Provide general information on engines, boats, ATVs, UTVs, PWCs, trailers, and services
- Schedule appointments for sales, service, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and office area
Parts & Accessories Counter Sales
- Assist customers with parts and accessory purchases at the counter
- Look up parts, check inventory, and process sales transactions
- Maintain organized parts records and assist with inventory tracking
Administrative & Office Support
- Prepare invoices, process billing, and assist with payment tracking
- Organize customer files, contracts, and documentation
- Maintain calendars, scheduling systems, and internal records
- Perform data entry and basic reporting as required
- Ability to support and assist in the coordination of both rental and storage programs.
Customer Relations
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments, billing, and service inquiries
- Address basic customer concerns and escalate issues to management when needed
- Build strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in customer service, front desk, administrative, or retail sales roles (marine or powersports experience is an asset)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, POS systems, and scheduling/billing software
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation
- Starting at $20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Working Conditions
- Full-time 40 Hours per week
- Indoor office and retail counter environment with frequent customer interaction
Exposure to showroom and marina operations

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
