Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for contributing to the execution of brand concepts into effective visual designs for digital campaigns. Under the direction of an Art Director (AD) or Senior Art Director (SAD), you will work hands-on on several projects at a time and assist in many phases of creative development. You will be involved in concepting and executing creative for new business. You are learning to excel at working and managing priorities independently, with oversight from your manager. You aim to produce work to the highest standards and are passionate about interactive design, trends in mobile, social media, digital design and technology.

Understand client brand guidelines and apply on-brand design solutions across digital, video, and mobile formats, presentations from execution through production handoff; Direct contribution to creative development
Interprets direction from AD, Sr AD, ACD into flawless creative; generates work that meets and exceeds client expectations
Owns project management of assigned work; delivers on time; checks in with mentor to help balance workload when needed
Developing communication skills including ability to articulate and sell creative decisions and rationale to other team members in words as well as visuals
Gain understanding of the different digital formats and the ability to contribute to strategic ideas that delivers the best usage of these
Remain current with design/industry trends and advances in technology
This role is 100 percent execution
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
BFA preferred, ideally in Visual Communications, Advertising or Design
1-3 years of experience in agency/in-house environment
Amazing portfolio that shows flawless attention to detail as well as conceptual thinking and integrated experiences
Proven teamwork skills
Able to handle multiple projects and work efficiently under pressure
Ability to see other people's point of view and receive criticism a must
Eagerness to be mentored by AD, SAD, ACD/CD
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
Able to identify as well as solve challenges
Digital experience a plus
