Kinton ramen 130th Ave SE is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to help oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to food preparation, team supervision, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality food standards, managing staff, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee food handling procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain proper stock of ingredients and equipment.
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols to uphold sanitation standards.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling responsibilities.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to foster positive relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles, preferably with supervising experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Light speed
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and lead by example.
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees within the hospitality or food industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities combined with attention to detail and organizational skills.
Compensation
