Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods for residential and commercial clients. This position requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' belongings are handled with care and delivered safely to their destination.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of furniture and other items with care and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations during moves.
- Operate commercial vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the moving process.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not engaged in moving tasks, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Utilize forklifts as needed for loading and unloading heavy items, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in moving or related fields is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is highly valued.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.
