Locations:
Edson, Hinton, Whitecourt, Athabasca, Westlock, Barrhead, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Vegreville, Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Slave Lake, Grande Prairie, Peace River, High Prairie, High Level, and Fort McMurray, as well as Metis Settlements.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with experienced CI professionals who support your learning and development.
- Help assess child safety and support families using strength-based and trauma-informed practice.
- Build skills in casework, family dynamics, harm reduction, and Signs of Safety.
- Work collaboratively with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities and support culturally informed practice.
- Follow a robust learning plan to evolve your casework practice with an opportunity to move into a Delegated CI Practitioner role at a higher classification after your first year.
Salary: $2,640.88 to $3,408.48 bi-weekly ($68,927 to $88,961 annually)
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Social Work with no experience, or an equivalency.
- Applicants with prior CFS practicum or CFS summer student experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Pay: $68,927.00-$88,961.00 per year
