Downtown cafe is looking for a reliable part-time Dishwasher to start immediately. Only candidates that apply in person with a resume will be considered.$18/hour to start. We are located at 321 Bloor St. West.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen organized
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
- Proven experience in cleaning within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
