Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and operating hydrovac trucks to safely excavate and expose underground utilities while adhering to safety protocols and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Duties
- Operate hydrovac trucks for safe excavation of underground utilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects effectively.
- Utilize heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and graders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other crew members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly hydrovac trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Valid AZ or DZ License, with clean record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
